Lake Worth Strengthens its Communication Skills with Community Mediation Workshop



On April 3, 2010, Community Mediation, Inc. will be holding a Community Mediation Workshop in the Compass Center at 4:00 p.m. The Compass Center is located at 201 N. Dixie Highway in downtown Lake Worth. This workshop will focus on strengthening the sense of community in Lake Worth by teaching residents how to use mediation as a communication and conflict resolution skill.



In today’s fast paced society, the traditional concept of a true community is lost to most. Problem solving skills have diminished; hence the breakdown in civil discourse and busy court system. Community Mediation is a conflict resolution tactic used to resolve community disputes, and Community Mediation, Inc. brings years of experience in rebuilding a sense of community and resolving ongoing conflicts that factionalize and polarize municipalities.
